[Unsolved] Bianca Carrasco: Missing Mother

Who Was Bianca?

Bianca Carrasco was born in Odessa, Texas, on July 21, 1986. She and her older sister Jovanna grew up with a strong sisterly bond while living with their dad just outside of Houston.

The girls weren't raised with their mom, who struggled with drugs and was in and out of prison throughout their lives. Jovanna described their family dynamic as "broken," and the girls weren't allowed to see their mom or their maternal side of the family at all while growing up.

Despite a difficult childhood, Bianca was determined to build a better life for herself.

Bianca became a nurse and a devoted mother to her three children. She was hardworking, responsible, and deeply loved by her family and friends.

The Disappearance

On May 1, 2016, Bianca Carrasco vanished from San Antonio, Texas.

Bianca failed to show up for work—something that was completely out of character for the responsible 29-year-old. Her family and friends knew immediately that something was terribly wrong.

When investigators began looking into Bianca's disappearance, they quickly focused on her husband, Daniel.

Daniel's Inconsistent Story

When investigators talked to Daniel about Bianca's disappearance, they became suspicious of his inconsistent story.

Daniel's version of events didn't add up. His explanations changed, and investigators believed he knew more than he was saying.

Despite their suspicions, investigators didn't have enough evidence to make an arrest.

The Investigation

Bianca's disappearance sparked an investigation, but nearly eight years later, there have been no arrests.
