Get involved

The stories we talk about often leave us wondering how we can help, so we’ve made it easier for our listeners to get involved by compiling a few of the foundations and charities that mean so much to us. We’d love for you to join in support by making a donation or sharing about them with others.

SEASON OF JUSTICE

Season of Justice is the trusted nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families shed new light on their cold cases and helping investigative agencies bridge the funding gap preventing them from accessing cutting-edge forensic technology.

BEXLEY BOXES

Bexley was two years old when her father was murdered in front of her. She was all alone for three minutes until a Good Samaritan discovered her. Bexley was taken to the police station to wait for her mom Kirsten, but the station had nothing to comfort Bexley - she was essentially all alone. Kirsten doesn’t want that to happen to any other children, so she started Bexley Boxes. Her goal is to equip police stations with simple toys, blankets, snacks, and other necessities (diapers, etc) to ease the anxiety and pain children experience when finding themselves in an unthinkable situation like Bexley’s.

THE SUSAN MORISSEY FOUNDATION

Before her life was taken, Susan was a beloved high school teacher. She was the type who saw something special in every student - the type to leave a lifelong impression on every student that walked through her classroom door. To honor Susan, her loved ones started a scholarship foundation. Every year, they give out an annual scholarship to a student at Academy Park High School, the school Susan worked at before she was murdered. The recipient is someone who excels in the subject of English and who demonstrates a love for reading and writing.

MILLBROOK TWINS BILLBOARD FUND

Two sisters, Dannette and Jeannette Millbrook, went missing in March of 1990. They 15 when they disappeared while walking home from the Pump N Shop convenience store in Augusta, GA. The family has lived with unanswered questions for 29 years. Despite their family's protests, the twins' file was closed in 1991. It was reopened in 2013, but until recently, there have been no new leads. After covering the case in their podcast, The Fall Line started a fund to put up and maintain a billboard to continue awareness about the Millbrook twins, but also to offer a reward fund. The continued donations help care for the costs of the billboard.
